Summer with all its goodness also brings some dangers. Sun rays are one of the most harmful factors for the skin. Find out how to protect yourself from them.
How to protect yourself from the sun?
Sunscreen is essential. A good sunscreen protects against both UVA and UVB radiation. It should be water-resistant and have a sun protection factor (SPF) of 30 or higher
Reapply half an hour before going out in the sun and reapply up to several hours later
If you don’t have to, don’t stay out in the sun between 12 and 3 pm.
Don’t forget your sunglasses.
Remember about your hair. The sun can cause the cuticles on your hair to split open and allow harmful UV rays to enter your hair. This damages the inside of the hair and oxidizes the melanin that gives your hair color.
